By registering for the 5BA Tournament, all participants and team representatives agree to the following terms and conditions. All players must be 16 years of age or older and under 6 feet tall (72 inches). Height may be measured before or during the event at the discretion of the organizers. Any player found to exceed the height limit will be disqualified and will not receive a refund. Each player is required to pay a $25 registration fee, totaling $125 per team based on five players. Teams may include up to seven players, allowing for two substitutes. All payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, including disqualification, no-shows, or cancellations.

The 5BA Tournament is a one-day, bracket-style competition held at Liberty Park. All games will be played full-court, 5-on-5. Regular games go to 11 points with no “win by two” rule, and the championship game will be played to 21 points, also with no “win by two.” Standard basketball rules apply. The winning team will receive a $1,500 cash prize, awarded at the conclusion of the event to a team representative. Only one team will receive a prize—no other placements will be rewarded.

Participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior at all times. Any form of fighting, threats, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate disqualification of the player or team. 5BA welcomes coed teams and promotes fairness and inclusivity through the motto: “Equal rights, equal fights.”

All players participate at their own risk. 5BA and its staff are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, lost items, or damages that occur during the event. By registering, players also consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes by 5BA, which may include use on social media, marketing material, and the official website. 5BA reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the event due to weather, safety concerns, or other factors. Refunds are not guaranteed in the event of cancellation.
